Who We Are
Fortune Community Centre (FCC) is a member owned, member managed and member led organization registered by Government of Kenya (Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Development) in 2013 to provide social and economic sustainability for the vulnerable groups. We have successfully waded in the murky waters of group dynamics and efficaciously matured through the stages of formation, storming, norming and currently at the performing stage.

Our Core Competencies
- We have invested in structures at household and community levels that have been instrumental in pushing sustainability through ownership and initiative taking. This has seen higher number of beneficiaries accessing education and social transformation programs in the areas of health, skills and entrepreneurship.
- We have a niche in engaging duty bearers through proven Advocacy and Gender advancement projects.
- FCC has developed policies on Procurement, Financial management, Child Protection, Human Resource, that helps shape the core intent of the organization.
- We have 10 years’ implementation experience of HIV programs and we pride ourselves in the use of non -conventional approaches in addressing development challenges of OVCs and their families using the Deprivation, Exclusion and Vulnerability Matrix.
- We have readily available staff with expertise in Livelihood and Income Generation Activities to improve nutrition and economic outcomes. we are the go to organization with amplified voices from vulnerable groups with diverse psychosocial support tools and staff vested in addressing OVC and their families’ challenges within the broader context of HIV.
